Stick is the marotte almost always carried by Loki, Fool of the Palace of Domus Prime. 'He' is a shaft about two inches in diameter, tapering slightly over it's length of around 2 and a half feet. At the thicker end there is a small model of Loki's head, adorned with bells and a jester cap. The head was carved from the skull of a Corellian Sand Panther cub, stolen by Loki while he was a young boy. The wigs are replaced occasionally, though more often than not are only cleaned or fixed when Loki gets a new haircut.

Loki does not have the relationship like Jester has with Harold, as he did not spend most of his life with Stick, and his popularity meant he did not confide in his 'familiar' as much as others had to. While in the halls of the Royal Court Entertainer's Union he pretends that he has this relationship, and is often seen talking to Stick as if he were a real person.

Stick's shaft hides two valuable secrets; a pair of nunchucks that unscrew from each other and have a chain between them in a small hollow between the two, and the lightsabre Loki took from his old Jedi Master, Ashiin Heran.

Loki thinks of Stick as symbolising his life. The marotte represents a combination of his life as a Jedi, hidden under his jovial nature, by the lightsabre hidden in the shaft, and his life as an urchin, displayed openly, yet hidden for what it truly is. When constucted, Loki hoped that Stick would be the representation of finally being complete, and he is now considering changing him to reflect coming into his powers since arriving on Domus Prime.
